8. STEP by STEP
I have been in this position at Saehan for little more than 3 years now and there have been so many things happened for the last 3 years.
We had retreats. We served IKC. We visited places like Lexington, Nashville, and Glasgow. We played bowling, board games and much more.
We had countless worships. We did bible studies together. All are just good memories I have with you all.
We had bad moments too. I was still growing as a pastor and I have witnessed you all being so patient with me in the grace of God. We also
had a couple of internal problems too. But even during those times, God was still faithful to us and took care of those problems even when I
thought of them as something hard to take care of.
However, through good times and bad times, I found one thing: Jesus is in control and He is leading us STEP by STEP. I am kind of a person
who likes to see results fast. I can’t wait. But God’s timing is always the perfect timing. All that God wants us to do is to believe that our God is
faithful and that He wants us to be faithful to Him as well.
I really believe that is true. Especially how God works through our House Church. When we do life sharing, I can see we share more in depth
as time passed by. There were times where I wanted all of us just share deep things as soon as possible but in reality, that’s not how it worked.
It took some time. And I believe the more we do this and take this direction, the more we share and bless one another through the working of
the Holy Spirit.
And this is important because we want to see this with our VIPs as well. Pandemic happened. And everything seems closed up, even our
opportunities to invite VIPs to our House Church. But God is faithful, and He will lead His people through us even in times like this and we will go
forward one step at a time and see how God will be glorified through every single one of us. Let’s pray for each other. Let’s pray for VIPs.
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6
