누구나 이맘 때쯤이면 한 해를 돌아보며 새 해를 위한 계획을 마무리 하는 때일 것이다. 특별히 한 해의 마지막 주일을 맞이하며 지난 한 해 동안의 은혜와 축복에 감사드리고, 다가오는 2025년을 맞이할 준비를 함께 하길 원한다. 새로운 해를 맞이하며 우리는 각자 계획을 세울 텐데, 이 계획들을 세우는데 몇 가지 도움이 되는 생각을 나누고자 한다.
먼저, 개인의 사명을 명확히 하는 것이 중요하다. 하나님께서 우리 각자에게 주신 특별한 사명이 무엇인지 깊이 생각해 보고, 그 사명을 이루기 위한 구체적인 계획을 세우는 것이다. 그리스도인들에게는 누구에게나 명확한 사명이 있다. 그것은‘영혼구원하여 제자를 삼는 것이다.’그 사명을 이루기 위하여 모든 계획이 집중되게 해보자. 예를 들면, 매일 기도 시간을 정하고, 성경 읽기와 묵상 계획을 세우는 것이다. 그 것을 하루 중 언제, 어디서 얼마만큼 진행할 것인지 계획을 세워보자.
다음으로, 가정의 사명을 생각해 보자. 가족 중에서 아직 믿지 않거나 더 헌신된 제자된 삶이 필요하다면, 그들의 영혼 구원과 제자를 삼는 사명을 감당하기 위해서 우리의 가족들이 하나님 앞에서 어떠한 역할을 감당해야 하는지 고민해 보자. 그리고 가족 구성원들과 함께 이루고자 하는 목표를 설정해 보자. 예를 들어, 가정 예배 시간을 정하고, 서로에게 “미고사축”의 언어로 격려하며 하나님의 말씀을 나누는 시간을 가져보자. 멀리 떨어져 있는 가족들이 있다면, 영상 통화를 통해서라도 시도해보자.
그리고 각 목장의 사명을 기억하자. 목장의 사명은 곧 교회의 사명이기도하다. 지역 사회와 세상에 어떻게 빛과 소금으로 살아가야 하는지 고민해 보고, 이를 이루기 위한 계획을 구체적으로 세워보자. 각 목장마다 목표를 설정하고, 그 목표를 이루기 위해 함께 애를 써보자. 예를 들어, 전반기 1명, 후반기 1명 이상 목장에 초대하는 목표를 세워보는 것이다. 이 목표를 위해서 모든 목원들이 한 마음으로 뭉쳐보자.
마지막으로 비지네스와 직장의 사명을 확인해보자. 하나님께서 허락해 주신 비지네스와 직장임이 틀림 없을 것이다. 그렇다면 하나님께서 그것을 주신 이유가 있을 것이다. 나는 하나님께서 주신 사명을 이루는 도구로 사용하라고 주신 것이라고 말씀드리고 싶다. 그곳에서 영혼구원하여 제자 삼는 사명을 이루는데 도움을 드리기 위해 여러가지 언어로 된 전도지도 많이 준비해 놓았다.
사명들을 성공적으로 완수하기를 바라는 마음과 내년을 성공적인 한 해로 만드는데 도움이 되시기를 바라는 목사의 마음을 전하고 싶다. PK
984. The Pastor's Heart for the Congregation in the New Year
Around this time of year, everyone reflects on the past year and finalizes their plans for the new year. As we approach the last Sunday of the year, I want to take a moment to thank God for the grace and blessings we have received throughout the past year and prepare together for the upcoming year of 2025. As we embrace the new year, we will all set our own plans. I’d like to share a few thoughts that may help in making those plans.
First, it is crucial to clarify our individual missions. Reflect deeply on the unique mission God has given each of us and set specific plans to achieve it. Every Christian has a clear mission: to save souls and make disciples. Let us focus all our plans on fulfilling that mission. For example, set a regular prayer time, and create a plan for daily Bible reading and meditation. Decide when, where, and how much time will be dedicated to these practices each day.
Next, consider the mission of your family. If there are family members who do not yet believe or who need to live a more committed discipleship, think about the roles your family members should play before God to fulfill the mission of saving souls and making disciples. Set goals together with your family members. For instance, establish a regular family worship time, encourage one another with words of “Misogachuk” (a coined term for encouragement in Korean), and share God's word. If some family members are far away, try video calls to stay connected.
Remember the mission of each cell group. The mission of the cell groups is also the mission of the church. Reflect on how we can live as the light and salt in our communities and the world, and set concrete plans to achieve this. Set goals for each cell group and work together to achieve them. For example, aim to invite at least one person to your cell group in the first half of the year and another in the second half. Let all members unite with one heart to achieve this goal.
Finally, confirm the mission of your business and workplace. There is no doubt that God has granted these opportunities. Therefore, there must be a reason God has given them. I believe God has provided them as tools to fulfill His mission. With a heart that hopes to see these missions successfully accomplished and to help make the upcoming year a successful one, I share my thoughts and prayers with you. PK
