내 마음의 간절한 소원과 기도제목

"My Deepest Wish and Prayer"

로마서10:18-21

18. 그러면 내가 묻습니다. 그들은 들은 일이 없습니까? 물론 그렇지 않습니다.  성경 말씀에 "그들의 목소리가 온 땅에 퍼지고, 그들의 말이 땅 끝까지 퍼졌다" 하였습니다.
19. 내가 다시 묻습니다. 이스라엘이 알지 못하였습니까? 이에 대하여 하나님께서 먼저 모세를 통하여 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. "나는 내 백성이 아닌 사람들로 너희의 질투심을 일으키고, 미련한 백성들로 너희의 분노를 자아내겠다."
20. 또한 이사야는 매우 담대하게 이렇게 말씀을 전하였습니다. "나를 찾지 않는 사람들을 내가 만나 주고, 나를 구하지 않는 사람들에게 내가 나타났다."

21. 또한 이사야는 하나님께서 이스라엘을 보고 "복종하지 않고 거역하는 백성에게, 나는 온종일 내 손을 내밀었다" 하신 말씀을 선포하였습니다.

 

18. But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? Indeed they have; "THEIR VOICE HAS GONE OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH, AND THEIR WORDS TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD."
19. But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says, "I WILL MAKE YOU JEALOUS BY THAT WHICH IS NOT A NATION, BY A NATION WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING WILL I ANGER YOU."
20. And Isaiah is very bold and says, "I WAS FOUND BY THOSE WHO DID NOT SEEK ME, I BECAME MANIFEST TO THOSE WHO DID NOT ASK FOR ME."

21. But as for Israel He says, "ALL THE DAY LONG I HAVE STRETCHED OUT MY HANDS TO A DISOBEDIENT AND OBSTINATE PEOPLE."

 

우리는 참 드믄 사람들이다. 어떤 면에서인가? 하나님의 말씀을 여러번 반복하여 듣고도, 알아듣지 못하니, 세상에서 참 드믄 사람들이다. 그리고 하나님은 그렇게 우리가 바보같은 사람들이라는 것을 아시면서도 끝까지 사랑해 주시니 참 드문 사람들이다. We are truly rare people. In what way? Despite repeatedly hearing God's words, we fail to understand them, making us truly rare people in the world. And God, knowing that we are foolish, still loves us to the end, making us truly rare people.

그럼에도 불구하고  이런 사람들에게 관심을 가져주실 뿐만 아니라, 구원에 이르도록 애를 쓰시는 하나님의 사랑이 뼈저리게 감사할 뿐이다. Despite this, we are deeply grateful for God's love, who not only cares for such people but also strives for our salvation.

오늘은 이렇게 여러가지 면으로 드문 사람들인 우리에게 향하신 하나님의 관심과 사랑을 알아보자. 오늘의 설교 제목은 10:1 마지막 부분을 가지고 그대로 만들어 보았습니다. Today, let's explore God's interest and love towards us, rare people in many ways. The title of today's sermon is directly taken from the last part of 10:1.

1. 형제자매 여러분, 내 마음의 간절한 소원과 내 동족을 위하여 하나님께 드리는 내 기도의 내용은, 그들이 구원을 얻는 일입니다.

1. Brethren, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation.

A. 본문의 배경과 핵심 내용 그리고 본문 해설

로마서 10:18-21은 사도 바울이 이스라엘 백성들이 예수 그리스도의 복음을 듣고도 받아들이지 않는 현실을 안타까워하며 말하고 있는 부분입니다. 바울은 이스라엘에게 복음이 전해졌으나, 그들은 순종하지 않았다는 점을 강조합니다. A. Background and Key Content of the Text and Explanation of the Text

Romans 10:18-21 is a part where Apostle Paul laments the reality that the people of Israel do not accept the gospel of Jesus Christ, despite having heard it. Paul emphasizes that although the gospel was delivered to Israel, they did not obey it.

 

B. 본문을 통하여 배워야 할 영적인 교훈

이 본문을 통해 우리는 두 가지 중요한 영적인 교훈을 배울 수 있습니다.

첫째, 하나님의 말씀은 모두에게 전해졌다는 것입니다(18-19절). First, God's word has been delivered to everyone (verses 18-19).

18. 그러면 내가 묻습니다. 그들은 들은 일이 없습니까? 물론 그렇지 않습니다.  성경 말씀에 "그들의 목소리가 온 땅에 퍼지고, 그들의 말이 땅 끝까지 퍼졌다" 하였습니다.

18. But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? Indeed they have; "THEIR VOICE HAS GONE OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH, AND THEIR WORDS TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD."

하나님의 말씀은 이스라엘뿐만 아니라 세상의 모든 사람에게 전해졌다는 것을 강조하고 있습니다. 그래서 심지어 저와 여러분에게까지 전해지게 되었다는 것이지요. It emphasizes that God's word has been delivered not only to Israel but to all people in the world. Hence, it has even reached you and me.

그러므로 예수 복음을 듣지 못해서 믿지 못했다고 핑계댈 건가? 그럴 수 없다는 것입니다. 여기서 하나님의 자기 백성에 대한 애끓는 마음의 소원을 엿볼 수 있습니다. Therefore, can we excuse ourselves by claiming we couldn't believe because we didn't hear the gospel of Jesus? That is not possible. Here, we can glimpse God's heartfelt desire for His people.

둘째, 듣고 알고도 믿지 않는 것은 하나님의 진노를 일으킨다 (19절). Second, hearing and knowing but not believing provokes God's wrath.

19. 내가 다시 묻습니다. 이스라엘이 알지 못하였습니까? 이에 대하여 하나님께서 먼저 모세를 통하여 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. "나는 내 백성이 아닌 사람들로 너희의 질투심을 일으키고, 미련한 백성들로 너희의 분노를 자아내겠다."

19. But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says, "I WILL MAKE YOU JEALOUS BY THAT WHICH IS NOT A NATION, BY A NATION WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING WILL I ANGER YOU."

전도를 하다보면 예수에 대하여 이미 들어서 알고 있다고 대답합니다. 예수님에 대하여 들어서 알고 있다면, 믿고 구원을 받아야 할 텐데, 순종하는 믿음을 갖지 않습니다. 마치 이스라엘 백성들이 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 알면서도 순종하지 않았던 것처럼 말입니다. "When evangelizing, people often say they already know about Jesus. If they have heard about Jesus, they should believe and be saved, but they do not have obedient faith. It's like the Israelites who heard God's word and knew it but did not obey."

예수님의 고난과 십자가 죽으심과 부활을 들었는가? 그래서 알고 있는가? 그렇다면 어서 예수를 믿고 구원을 받아야지! 이 사람들아 지금 뭣하고 있는 거여!!! 사도 바울의 심장터지는 애틋한 마음의 소원을 통하여 하나님 아버지의 소원이 느껴지시나요? "Have you heard about the suffering, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus? So you know about it? Then you should quickly believe in Jesus and be saved! What are you people doing right now!!! Through the heart-wrenching desire of Apostle Paul, can you feel the longing heart of God the Father?"

아직도 예수님에 대하여 듣지 못했고, 그래서 예수님을 알지 못해서 믿지 못하고 있다면, 지금 당장 간단 명료하게 말씀 드릴테니, 들으시고 마음속에 간직하시며 믿기로 결단을 내리시기 바랍니다. "If you still haven't heard about Jesus and thus don't know Him and cannot believe in Him, let me tell you simply and clearly right now. Please listen, keep it in your heart, and decide to believe."

예수님은 나의 죄때문에 내가 얼마나 절망적인 존재인가를 아시고, 그 절망스런 가운데서 구원하시기 위하여 십자가에 죽기까지 하신 분입니다. 죽으셨을 뿐만 아니라, 성경의 예언대로 다시 살아나셔서 다시 오마 하시고 부활 승천하셨습니다. 그리고 지금은 하나님 우편에 앉아계시며 우리를 위하여 중보기도하고 계시는 분입니다. "Jesus knew how despairing I was because of my sins, and to save me from that despair, He died on the cross. Not only did He die, but as prophesied in the scriptures, He rose again, ascended into heaven, and promised to return. Now, He sits at the right hand of God, interceding for us."

이제는 그만 포기하시고 그만하셔도 될텐데, 우리가 구원 얻는 믿음을 가질 때까지 기도하고 계십니다. 예수님 마음의 소원이 바로 여러분과 제가 구원 받는 것이기 때문입니다. 우리를 그냥 내 버려 두지 않으시고 그렇게 기도를 하고 계시는 분입니다.    "Even though He could give up on us and stop, He continues to pray for us until we have faith that leads to salvation. This is because Jesus' heartfelt desire is for you and me to be saved. He does not abandon us but continues to pray for us."

자, 그렇다면 마지막으로, 예수님의 소원과 기도 내용은 무엇인가? (20-2절). "So, lastly, what is the content of Jesus' desire and prayer? (verse 20-2)."

그것은, 저와 여러분이 예수 믿고 구원받아 하나님의 자녀가 되는 것입니다. 20절과 21절에서 정확하게 그 내용을 알 수 있습니다. 함께 읽어봅시다. "It is that you and I believe in Jesus, be saved, and become children of God. We can know the exact content from verses 20 and 21. Let's read them together."

20. 또한 이사야는 매우 담대하게 이렇게 말씀을 전하였습니다. "나를 찾지 않는 사람들을 내가 만나 주고, 나를 구하지 않는 사람들에게 내가 나타났다."
21. 또한 이사야는 하나님께서 이스라엘을 보고 "복종하지 않고 거역하는 백성에게, 나는 온종일 내 손을 내밀었다" 하신 말씀을 선포하였습니다.

20. And Isaiah is very bold and says, "I WAS FOUND BY THOSE WHO DID NOT SEEK ME, I BECAME MANIFEST TO THOSE WHO DID NOT ASK FOR ME."
21. But as for Israel He says, "ALL THE DAY LONG I HAVE STRETCHED OUT MY HANDS TO A DISOBEDIENT AND OBSTINATE PEOPLE."

 

C. 그 교훈을 어떻게 적용할 것인가? "C. How can we apply this lesson?"

이 교훈들을 우리의 삶에 적용하려면 다음과 같은 방법이 있습니다. 먼저, 하나님의 말씀에 귀 기울이는 것입니다. 예배 시간에 설교를 통하여, 성경공부 (삶공부), 혹은 매일 큐티와 같은 말씀 묵상을 통하여 하나님의 말씀을 배우고 듣고, 순종하는 연습을 하는 것입니다. "To apply these lessons to our lives, here are some ways. First, listen to God's word. This can be through sermons during worship services, Bible studies (life studies), or daily devotions such as quiet times. Learn, hear, and practice obeying God's word."

그 다음, 복음을 전해보는 것입니다. 우리 주변의 사람들에게 관심을 가지고 하나님의 말씀과 복음을 전해야 합니다. 제가 청소년들 사역을 함께 하고 있습니다. 몇 주 전에 한 중학생 하나가 친구를 따라서 토요예배에 참석했습니다. "Next, share the gospel. We should care about the people around us and share God's word and the gospel with them. I am involved in youth ministry. A few weeks ago, a middle school student attended the Saturday worship service following a friend."

저는 그가 구원을 받았는지 궁금하여 물어봤습니다. 교회는 다녀봤는가? 아주 어렸을 때, 부모님이 데리고 가서 몇 번 가본 적이 있습니다. 그 후에 초등학교를 들어가면서부터 전혀 가본 적이 없습니다. 그러면 예수님이 누구인지 들어봤는가? 아니요! 그럼 지금 예수를 믿는가? 아니요! "I was curious if he had been saved, so I asked him. 'Have you ever been to church?' 'When I was very young, my parents took me a few times. After entering elementary school, I haven't gone at all.' 'Have you heard about who Jesus is?' 'No!' 'Do you believe in Jesus now?' 'No!'"

여러분, 우리가 스쳐 지나가는 사람들 중에는 이런 사람들이 꽤 많다는 것 아시나요? 통계적으로 80퍼센트나 됩니다. 즉 10명 만나면 8명이 그런 사람들이라는 거예요. 먼저 믿고 있는 사람들로서 어떻게 해야할까요? 그냥 그대로 지나쳐 버릴 건가요? 하나님 아버지 마음의 소원을 알고 계시면서도 그냥 내버려 둘건가요? "Friends, did you know that many of the people we pass by are like this? Statistically, it's 80 percent. So, out of 10 people we meet, 8 are like this. As those who already believe, what should we do? Just pass them by? Knowing the longing desire of God the Father, will you just leave them?"

올해 여러분들의 마음의 소원과 기도제목은 무엇인가요? 하나님 아버지의 소원을 풀어드리고 싶은 마음 없으세요? 아버지의 소원을 풀어드리면, 그 사람의 앞날은 대박나는 겁니다. 아버지의 소원을 풀어드렸는데, 그냥 나두시겠어요? 저 같아도 절 대 그냥 넘어가지 않을 겁니다. "What are your heartfelt desires and prayer topics for this year? Don't you want to fulfill the longing desire of God the Father? If you fulfill the desire of the Father, that person's future will be incredibly blessed. After fulfilling the Father's desire, would you just leave it? I would definitely not overlook it."

D. 그 교훈을 적용하는 가운데 어떻게 예수의 복음을 드러낼 것인가? "D. How can we reveal the gospel of Jesus while applying these lessons?"

예수의 복음을 드러내기 위해서는 우리의 삶 속에서 예수님이 보이셨던 삶을 그대로 따라서 사는 것입니다. 그것이 하나님 말씀, 즉 복음을 실천하는 것입니다. "To reveal the gospel of Jesus, we should live our lives by following the life that Jesus showed us. This is practicing God's word, that is, the gospel."

우리의 행동과 말로 예수님의 사랑과 진리를 나타내야 합니다. 섬김과 나눔의 삶을 통하여 전도할 수 있습니다. 다른 사람들을 섬기고, 필요를 채워주는 삶을 통해 예수님의 복음을 전할 수 있습니다. "We should show Jesus' love and truth through our actions and words. We can evangelize by living a life of service and sharing. By serving others and meeting their needs, we can spread the gospel of Jesus."

그렇다면, 아직 예수를 믿지 않거나, 믿음이 불확실한 사람들에게 예수께로 초청의 메시지는 어떻게 전할 수 있을 까요? 아직 예수를 믿지 않거나, 믿음이 불확실한 사람들에게 예수께로 초청하는 메시지를 전하는 방법을 고민해 보아야 합니다. "So, how can we share an invitation message to Jesus with those who do not yet believe in Him or whose faith is uncertain? We need to think about ways to convey an invitation message to Jesus to those who do not yet believe in Him or whose faith is uncertain."

좋은 방법들 중에 하나가, 개인적인 간증을 나누기입니다. 예수님을 만나게 된 개인적인 경험과 변화를 이야기함으로써, 복음을 더 친근하게 전달할 수 있기 때문입니다. 그러면서 예수님의 사랑과 구원의 필요성을 강조하며, 그분을 영접하도록 초청해야 합니다. "One of the best methods is to share personal testimonies. By sharing personal experiences and changes after meeting Jesus, the gospel can be conveyed more intimately. While doing so, emphasize the love of Jesus and the need for salvation, and invite them to accept Him."

그래서 저희 교회에서는 이런 제도를 운영하고 있습니다. 먼저, 목원들은 목장에 초대하고, 목장에서 믿음의 사람들과 교제를 나누면서 친근해 지면, 목자님은 생명의 삶이나, 예수 영접 모임에 모시고 옵니다. 그러면 예수 영접 모임에서 담임목사인 제가 예수 영접을 도와 줍니다. 그래서 전도는 한 사람이 하는 것이 아니라, 협력하여 하는 것입니다. "So our church operates this system. First, cell members invite people to the cell group. As they become familiar with each other through fellowship with believers in the cell group, the cell leader brings them to a 'Life of Faith' class or a 'Jesus Acceptance' meeting. At the 'Jesus Acceptance' meeting, I, the senior pastor, help them to accept Jesus. Therefore, evangelism is not done by one person, but through cooperation."

오늘의 말씀 속에서 하나님 아버지의 마음의 소원과 기도 제목이 무엇인지를 잘 이해하셨나요? 그것이 뭐죠? 예, 영혼 구원하여 제자를 삼는 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀을 믿고, 순종하며, 예수님의 복음을 삶 속에서 실천하시므로 하나님의 자녀로서 아버지의 소원을 풀어드리는 저와 여러분이 되시길 바랍니다.  Did you understand well the heartfelt desire and prayer topics of God the Father from today's message? What is it? Yes, it is to save souls and make disciples. By believing in God's word, obeying it, and practicing the gospel of Jesus in your life, may you and I become God's children who fulfill the Father's longing desire.

지금은, 결단과 헌신을 위한 침묵의 시간입니다. "Now, it is a time of silence for decision and dedication."

이제 평안한 마음으로 세상에 돌아가십시오. 선한 일에 용기를 가지시며, 악을 악으로 갚지 마십시오. 항상 연 약한 자를 도우시며, 병든 자를 찾아보시며, 곤란 당하는 이웃을 위로하십시오. 모든 사람을 존경하시며, 주님 께 봉사하고 주님을 사랑하십시오. 모든 일을 믿음과 사랑으로 행하시며 어떤 일에도 소망을 포기하지 마십시 오. 그리고 거룩하신 성령께 순종하여 기쁨과 감사의 생활을 해 나가십시오. 우리 하나님 아버지는 여러분을 항상 도와주실 것입니다.

Now return to the world with a peaceful heart. Have courage in what is good, and do not return evil for evil. Always help the weak, seek out the sick, and comfort those in need. Honor everyone, serve the Lord and love the Lord. Do all things with faith and love, and do not give up hope in anything, and live a life of joy and thanksgiving in obedience to the Holy Spirit. Our Heavenly Father will always help you.

Now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all the congregants gathered here, upon every household, and in all their endeavors, now and forevermore. Amen.

이제는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 하나님의 사랑과 성령의 교통하심이 여기 모인 모든 성도님들 위에, 그리고 각 가정과 하시는 모든 일들 위에 영원히 함께하시기를 간절히 추건하옵나이다. 아멘.
